HIFU stands for High Intensity Focused Ultrasound. The device focuses ultrasound energy at a selected point, creating local heating at a defined depth.

Unlike superficial procedures, HIFU can work with tissue-supporting layers, including SMAS. The result is perceived as tightening and lifting, not only as better skin texture.

Why the effect increases

After the procedure, part of the tissue contracts from heat, but the main result is connected with neocollagenesis. The body needs time to build denser collagen structures.

That is why HIFU results are evaluated not only immediately after the session but also several weeks later, when remodeling becomes more visible.
